American Citizens Evacuated from Armenia on Special Flight

A special flight evacuating American citizens from Armenia was held today, April 17, from Zvartnots Airport. This was announced by the airport's press service.

Earlier, the U.S. Embassy had issued a statement that on April 17, a charter flight would be organized for the evacuation of American citizens from Yerevan to Doha. According to the plan, the aircraft is scheduled to land in Doha at 22:50 local time.

Passengers are responsible for arranging their onward travel from Doha and must purchase tickets in advance.

The embassy has indicated that this is the only evacuation flight from Armenia.
