Larsi is Open for Trucks, Roads to Amberd and Kary Lake Closed in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of April 16 at 08:40, the roadways within Armenia are mostly accessible.
The roads leading to Amberd Fortress and Kary Lake in the Aragatsotn province will remain closed for an indefinite period.
Regarding Larsi, according to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road has been opened only for freight transport following intense snow removal work.
Additionally, it should be noted that the decision prohibiting foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. This ban does not apply to freight transportation.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
