If We Are Emotional on April 24, We Could Bring Disasters Upon Ourselves: Prime Minister

We have many important memorial days and holidays coming up, and if we suddenly find ourselves emotional, we could bring disasters upon ourselves. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a cabinet meeting on April 16.

“April 24 is approaching, and I don’t think that if hundreds of people die due to our emotional behavior on that day, the souls of our genocide martyrs will be more at peace. We must be precise and disciplined if we want the restrictions to gradually ease. On the other hand, we don’t have an alternative; we can’t simply close the economy,” said Pashinyan.

He noted that people have been confined to their homes for over a month now and are under psychological pressure. “We must learn to live under the conditions of coronavirus,” he added.
