Drivers of Public Transport, Kindergarten, and Sports Club Employees Will Also Receive Funds

The government's decision has expanded the scope of the 8th and 9th assistance measures. This decision was made during the cabinet meeting on April 16.

A family will also qualify as a beneficiary of the 9th measure if a parent with registered employment has been on childcare leave for a child under three years old as of March 12, 2020.

According to the decision, the beneficiaries of the 8th measure will also include citizens and individual entrepreneurs involved in the following sectors:

1. Ground transportation activities (public transport),
2. Preschool education (private kindergartens),
3. Activities in the field of sports (sports clubs, swimming pools),
4. Other activities related to entertainment and recreation.
