Currently, 29 patients are receiving treatment for coronavirus at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital, 23 of whom are residents of Shirak Province. This was reported by the Shirak regional administration.

Since the start of the outbreak, 8 individuals have recovered and been discharged, while 2 are receiving treatment in the capital.

“Unfortunately, we have had one death as a result of the disease. Currently, there are 148 citizens under isolation instructions and 278 in self-isolation in Shirak Province,” the message states.

Regarding the cases documented at the Maralik Health Center, 10 employees of the center are currently at the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital with positive test results. A total of about 60 employees from the center will be tested today.

Continuous work is being carried out to identify and isolate risks and contacts,” the statement concluded.
