Positive News: Third Test Results Negative, Says Gegharkunik Governor
Gegharkunik Governor Gnel Sanosyan made a post on his Facebook page informing that the third test of a resident suspected of coronavirus infection in the region has returned negative.
“Dear residents of Gegharkunik region, As I mentioned yesterday, it became necessary to test the patient suspected of having coronavirus for the third time. I have good news for all of us—it is NEGATIVE. The further treatment of our patient will proceed according to medical advice. I would like to thank our colleagues in the healthcare system, especially all the medical staff at Nork Infectious Clinical Hospital and Saint Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, who are working under extreme pressure these days, selflessly fighting for the health and lives of each patient, and demonstrating high professionalism.”
I continue to urge everyone to strictly follow the commandant's instructions, maintain hygiene standards, and only go outside when absolutely necessary. And stay tuned to official news. Stay healthy,” wrote the governor.
Earlier, it was reported that a patient with pneumonia in Martuni tested positive for coronavirus. He had taken the test for the second time, which, however, returned negative. It was decided that for safety reasons, the citizen should take the test for the third time.
