I Guarantee Your Safety. Lukashenko Invites EAEU Partners to Minsk
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has invited his partners from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to the summit of the heads of EAEU member countries scheduled for May 19 in Minsk. He made this announcement during a working meeting via video conference with members of the Eurasian Economic Council. According to RIA Novosti, Lukashenko stated, "I expect everyone in Minsk, I guarantee you absolute safety. I am confident that it will be pleasant for you, as always, to be in our country's capital."
In response to the Belarusian president's invitation, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov laughed, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev nodded in approval, while the Russian president showed no reaction.
