6 Soldiers Complete Treatment and Return to Service: What is the Epidemic Situation in the Armed Forces?
Currently, there are no soldiers in the Armed Forces of Armenia who are in serious or extremely serious condition due to COVID-19, and there are no soldiers connected to a ventilator. This was stated by the head of the Military Medical Department of the Armed Forces, Sahak Ohanyan, during a press conference organized by the Government’s press center, where he addressed the epidemic situation in the military.
He did not disclose the number of soldiers receiving treatment or in isolation, nor the locations where they are located, assuring that “excellent conditions have been created for both those receiving treatment and those in isolation. With daily updates, you will know that our soldiers will complete their treatment and come back to continue their service.”
Ohanyan confirmed that the number is minimal, and as of 11:00 a.m. today, 6 soldiers have completed their treatment and returned to service.
