Video: On April 9, 490 Public Places Were Disinfected Across the Republic
The Minister of Emergency Situations, Felix Tsolakyan, ordered that units of the Rescue Service carry out daily preventive disinfection measures in eight provinces of Armenia and in Yerevan. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
On April 9, rescuers disinfected 490 various public places, including 129 shopping centers, supermarkets, and shops. Disinfection efforts included the offices of the Gegharkunik Province Administration, the communities of Ararat, Berd, Martuni, and Vedi, the regional department of social welfare in Gavar, the office of the Human Rights Defender in Yerevan, the maternity hospital and polyclinic in Vagharshapat, five regional medical centers, and four pharmacies, as well as the draft office in Martuni and four churches in Gavar and Noratus. Additionally, branches of Haypost in Vedi and Artashat, and three service points of Ararat Telecom were disinfected.
Markets in Vanadzor and Kapan, the area known as “Lachin Passage” in Gyumri, the premises of the “Dustr Melanya” cheese factory in Tashir, one residential building, 44 ATMs, 27 banking and six credit institutions, and 15 other public places also underwent disinfection.
All structural and territorial subdivisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with their facilities, yards, and all types of vehicles, equipment, and uniforms of rescue service personnel, are subjected to daily disinfection.
