Coronavirus Has Exceeded Control: Previously, 50 Cases from One Source, Now 16-30 from 10-20 Different Sources
Previously, Armenia recorded 50 daily cases of coronavirus, all from a single source. Now, 16, 20, or 30 cases are being identified from 10 to 20 different sources. This was reported by Health Minister Arsen Torosyan during a session of the Permanent Commission on Health and Social Issues.
According to him, we can no longer consider the spread of the coronavirus to be under control or completely extinguished. “The circulation of the virus, as such, has exceeded control. Our task is to find every possible case, conduct testing, confirm, isolate the entire environment, treat, and release those who have recovered. We must do this for as long as we have the strength. When we are exhausted countrywide, we will undertake certain actions, leaving only testing and treatment, without isolation, as it would be pointless,” he stated.
It should be noted that as of April 10 in Armenia, at 11:00 AM, there have been 16 new cases of the coronavirus recorded, bringing the total to 937. A negative result has been recorded in 5160 cases of testing (258 in the last day). Currently, 777 individuals are being treated (an increase of 4 from the previous day).
