Number of Reports for Violating the Prime Minister's Decision Revealed
The police continue to ensure the implementation of the Prime Minister's decision regarding restrictions on personal movement to prevent the possible spread of the new coronavirus. From 9 AM on April 8 to 9 AM on April 9, reports of administrative violations were filed against 430 individuals for violating the rules of isolation or self-isolation, or other restrictions on their right to free movement. Since the Prime Minister's decision came into effect until 9 AM on April 9, reports were filed against 7,609 individuals: 2,914 in the capital and 4,695 in the regions.
"We urge the population once again to strictly limit going outside and to leave their homes only in extreme necessity, while complying with the requirements set forth by the Prime Minister's decision," the police stated in a released message.
