In Italy, 604 people have died from the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The daily death toll has significantly decreased since Monday. This was reported by the TASS agency, citing the Civil Protection Agency.
The number of infection cases in Italy has reached 880 in a single day. Previously, this number was averaging over 2000.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 135,586 people have been infected in Italy, with 24,392 recovering. Currently, there are 94,067 active carriers of the virus. The death toll now stands at 17,127.
