Turkish Tomatoes May Bankrupt Local Producers: Russia Sounds Alarm
The National Association of Fruit and Vegetable Processors of Russia has called on the country's authorities and agricultural officials to halt the import of tomatoes from Turkey, Azerbaijan, China, and Morocco. This demand has been reported by Turkish media.
The association aims to ensure support for local producers. According to their statement, if Turkish and other foreign products continue to enter Russia at low prices, it will alter the pricing in the country's food market.
