Pashinyan and Putin Discuss Natural Gas Supply Issues
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The parties discussed issues related to the supply of natural gas to Armenia. They exchanged information on the measures taken to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, noting that the situation in both countries is completely controllable in this regard.
Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed gratitude to the Russian side for the steps taken to ensure uninterrupted transportation of cargo from Armenia to Russia, as well as for the effective cooperation with Rospotrebnadzor.
The parties supported the idea of holding an extraordinary session of the Eurasian Economic Council via video conference. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous communication both in a bilateral format and within the framework of the EAEU.
