Employees of the National Assembly Staff Awarded for March

The Head of the National Assembly Staff, Tigran Galstyan, has clarified on his Facebook page regarding the awards. He wrote: 'The fund for the awards of about 700 employees and MPs of the National Assembly for the second quarter (April, May, June) is entirely transferred to the treasury account titled “Financial support for the prevention and overcoming of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic from donations by individuals and organizations to the state.” Earlier, at the initiative of the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, and with the agreement of the Members of Parliament, the fund for the March awards of the MPs was also transferred to the same treasury account.

I should note that the award fund constitutes 30% of the salary fund for both MPs and staff members. To avoid any misunderstandings, I want to emphasize that today the employees of the National Assembly Staff were awarded for their full and effective work in March, and it has no connection with the transfer of the upcoming quarterly award fund. It has been fully executed.'
