Court Hearing on 'Hrayr Tovmasyan vs. Nikol Pashinyan' Scheduled for May 13
The first court hearing in the case of Hrayr Tovmasyan, the president of the Constitutional Court, against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled for May 13. This information was provided by the Judicial Information System.
Tovmasyan is demanding an apology for statements that he considers offensive and a refutation of information he views as defamatory.
The lawsuit was filed on February 21 and assigned to Judge Gayane Khachatryan of the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court.
It is worth recalling that during a press conference in Kapan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan claimed that Tovmasyan had offered his services to the current government, to which Tovmasyan responded by stating that if the Prime Minister does not present evidence that he offered his services to the authorities, he will file a lawsuit for defamation.
