Arthur Vanetsyan Conducts Online Class with Kashatagh Schoolchildren

The "Hayrenik" Development Foundation has implemented its first project in Artsakh within the framework of the "Artsakh-Hayrenik" strategic program. The Kashatagh region of the Republic of Artsakh is one of the areas of vital and strategic importance for ensuring security for both Armenia and Artsakh.

Due to the prevention measures against the spread of the new coronavirus, remote learning has also been adopted in Artsakh. However, in several communities of the Kashatagh region, children were deprived of the opportunity to participate in online classes. In response to the requests of teachers and students, the "Hayrenik" Development Foundation provided schoolchildren from Berdzor and neighboring communities with smartphones with internet access and laptop computers, ensuring the continuity of their education under remote learning conditions.

The first online class held with the new devices was dedicated to the theme of patriotism, conducted by General-Major Arthur Vanetsyan, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the "Hayrenik" Development Foundation. He welcomed the students, engaging in a warm and direct conversation with them and answering many of their questions.

“Our victories in Artsakh began right with the liberation of Lachin, the area where you now live has vital and strategic importance for the security of both Armenia and Artsakh. It is the backbone of security for our two states, which we must maintain strong and unshakable together,” stated General-Major Arthur Vanetsyan.
