Two Employees of the Health and Labor Inspection Body Test Positive for Coronavirus
Currently, two employees of the Yerevan Territorial Center of the Health and Labor Inspection Body have tested positive for the coronavirus. Their condition is reported to be very good, with 17 individuals in isolation and 14 in self-isolation. This information was shared today, April 3, during a press conference held at the Emergency Management Center by the head of the Health and Labor Inspection Body, Hakob Avagyan.
“Unfortunately, some of our on-duty staff have also contracted the virus. At this time, no severe cases have been reported. Since April 1, when our employees joined the duty teams at 'Zvartnots' to assist during peak flight periods—we had reinforced our shifts—one of our epidemiologists from the Yerevan Territorial Center tested positive for the infection. He was transferred from the 'Nork' Infectious Disease Hospital yesterday for isolation, and another staff member who was on duty with him has also tested positive. Initially, there were suspicions of pneumonia, but fortunately, this was ruled out yesterday, and his condition is good as well,” Avagyan stated.
