Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Announces Closure of 30 Major Cities
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced the closure of 30 major cities in the country, restricting the entry and exit of vehicles. He made this statement during an interview with TRT television.
Erdogan noted that the closures would last for 15 days. Additionally, individuals under the age of 20 are prohibited from leaving their homes in Turkey.
The President added that due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, authorities have mandated that Turkish citizens wear masks in public places.
