First Case of Coronavirus Confirmed in Vayots Dzor Province

The Governor of Vayots Dzor Province, Ararat Grigoryan, announced on his Facebook page that a new case of coronavirus has been confirmed in the province.

"A case of coronavirus infection has been confirmed in Vayots Dzor Province. I inform you all that our compatriot infected with the virus has been in quarantine for 20 days and has not had contact with anyone in the province. Therefore, I urge everyone not to panic and to remain calm. I kindly ask you to strictly adhere to the restrictions imposed across the Republic of Armenia due to the state of emergency, as per the decision No. 27 of the Prime Minister of Armenia dated March 31, 2020. Dear friends, please stay at home and maintain the health of yourselves and your loved ones. Wishing everyone good health," he wrote.
