Russian President Vladimir Putin has addressed the citizens, announcing that next week will be non-working in Russia, while salaries will be maintained. This was reported by РИА Новости.
“We see how the coronavirus pandemic is acutely developing around the world. The number of patients is increasing in many countries. The entire global economy is under threat. It is currently extremely important to prevent the rapid spread of the disease, which is why I declare next week as non-working, with the preservation of salaries,” Putin stated.
Thus, the holidays will continue from March 28 to April 5.
