After 16:00, We Will Fully Implement the Legislation: Haik Meheryan
The first press conference of the headquarters today was held with Deputy Chief of Police Haik Meheryan and a representative from the Ministry of Justice, Arpine Sargsyan. The Deputy Chief of Police reminded that restrictions on people's movement have been in effect since yesterday, and the police urge everyone to follow the instructions of the head of the headquarters.
The representative from the Ministry of Justice also reminded that starting from March 23, those engaged in media activities during the state of emergency will face fines ranging from 100 to 300 times the minimum wage if they violate the rules regarding the distribution of information. “We have removed people as third parties from 92 vehicles, we have taken measures regarding 2 means of public transport, and after 16:00, we will fully implement the legislation. Before that hour, we will try to acclimate the citizens to the situation,” said Deputy Chief of Police Haik Meheryan.
