VIDEO: Administrative Liability of 100-200 Thousand Dram for Violating Self-Isolation and Movement Rules, Says Krmoyan
During a press conference at the government's press center, Suren Krmoyan, an advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan and the head of the Commandant's Office of Armenia, addressed the issue of how citizens' movements will be monitored and restricted.
Krmoyan stated that following the commandant's orders, police forces will monitor the movement of citizens throughout the Republic of Armenia using mobile units starting from midnight today.
He noted that for violating self-isolation and movement rules, there will be administrative liability set at a minimum of 100,000 to 200,000 drams. Furthermore, he mentioned that if such violations lead to the infection of another person, there may be discussions regarding criminal liability.
