Restrictions on Freedom of Movement Across Armenia Begin Today
As of 23:00 today, the freedom of movement for individuals across Armenia is being restricted, and mandatory self-isolation is being enforced in their place of residence or location.
This announcement was made by Suren Krmoyan, advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan. Krmoyan indicated that citizens should only leave their homes in exceptional cases related to vital needs, such as going to grocery stores, pharmacies, or agricultural markets.
“Only in exceptional cases, not multiple times a day. People can participate in funeral ceremonies and visit those in need of care,” he added.
