The Last Flight from Sharm El Sheikh to Yerevan Scheduled for the Night of March 19

The spokesperson for the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anna Naghdalyan, called on Armenian citizens living in countries without diplomatic representation to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs via hotline. "The last flight from Sharm El Sheikh to Yerevan will take place on the night of March 19. We urge those citizens planning to return to take this flight. It is unclear whether there will be another flight thereafter, so we advise using this one," she stated.

The head of the consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Artak Avetisyan, informed that all consulates have opened hotlines. Regarding the Upper Lars border crossing, he noted that it is currently closed due to weather conditions. "We kindly ask and urge people to refrain from attempting to cross through that checkpoint until we resolve the issues regarding the road's opening. Regular flights are operating from Rostov, Pyatigorsk, Minvody, and if possible, from Moscow as well," Avetisyan added.
