The Fire and Technical Safety Head of Armavir Region Died from Pneumonia at ‘Nork’ Infectious Hospital
On March 17, the individual who died from bilateral pneumonia at ‘Nork’ Infectious Hospital was the head of the Fire and Technical Safety Department of the Armavir region. This information was confirmed in an interview with Tert.am by Edmon Tsarukyan, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ Information and Public Relations Department.
“He was an employee of the Fire and Technical Safety Department, the head specialist in the Armavir region. He had bilateral pneumonia and died from heart failure. He was a very healthy person; it is unclear how this happened,” Edmon Tsarukyan stated.
It is worth recalling that the press secretary of the Ministry of Health, Alina Nikoghosyan, made a post on her Facebook page today, informing that on March 17, a patient diagnosed with “lung edema, bilateral pneumonia, respiratory failure” was transferred to ‘Nork’ Infectious Hospital, and there was also suspicion of a coronavirus infection. “Samples were taken, and the test results were negative,” the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health wrote.
