Citizens File a Complaint: Dairy Production Suspended in Armavir
A group of citizens has filed a complaint, leading to inspections conducted by the Food Safety Inspection Agency at the dairy production facility owned by individual entrepreneur Yuri Rapyan in the Shahumyan community of the Armavir region. This information was reported by the Food Safety Inspection Agency.
The inspection revealed that dairy production was being carried out in violation of food hygiene requirements. The technological process was not organized in a manner that prevents the cross-flow of raw materials and semi-finished products with finished food, there were no changing rooms, pest control measures had not been carried out, and employees had not undergone preliminary medical examinations or had sanitary books.
Additionally, the products being released did not have a declaration of conformity, lacked Armenian labeling, and the producer had not conducted laboratory monitoring regarding the quality and safety indicators of raw materials and finished products, as well as the levels of harmful substances.
The activities of Yuri Rapyan's dairy production facility have been suspended, and a deadline has been set to address the identified violations.
