Health Minister Calls for Temporary Abstention from Religious Ceremonies
Honestly, I am not aware of what decisions our country's religious organizations have made regarding the continuation or cessation of their rituals, but I want to remind that at least in South Korea and our neighboring Iran, the new coronavirus infection spread explosively precisely due to religious ceremonies. This was stated by the Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, on his Facebook page.
"Therefore, I urge our citizens and all religious organizations to refrain from mass rituals, canceling them until the danger of the pandemic is completely eliminated. People's health is above all else," he wrote.
