We Are Taking and Will Take All Necessary Measures: Lilit Makunts

Lilit Makunts, the leader of the My Step faction in the National Assembly, wrote on her Facebook page:

“The nationalistic, unpatriotic, uncontrolled and blatant joy we see from certain individuals who have lost power or their positions regarding coronavirus cases in Armenia will not go unanswered by the citizens politically. This has been demonstrated by the history of our newly independent state.

I want to remind those individuals how their opposition (of which we were also a part) behaved, for example, during the April 2016 war or the H1N1 outbreak, and how they are acting now. Just as we thought of the safety of every citizen during our time as the opposition (the best example being the Velvet Revolution), now as officials, we are caring for the safety of every citizen and are taking and will take all necessary measures. With such behavior, they not only showcase their political but also their human nature, which is condemnable at all times, regardless of who is in power,” wrote Makunts.
