How to Self-Isolate: Guidelines
The Ministry of Health has released a statement, which we present below.
How to self-isolate
Citizens of Armenia returning from countries with widespread transmission of the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) must undergo a 14-day self-isolation depending on the country or countries of arrival, unless a decision has been made to stay at a designated quarantine facility.
Follow these guidelines:
- Stay at home
- Isolate yourself from other household members
- Call your doctor before visiting
- Wear a medical mask if indicated
- Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing and coughing
- Wash your hands frequently
- Keep personal items separate
- Do not host visitors
- Ensure laundry is done at the highest possible temperature
- Seal your trash tightly
- Monitor for the development of symptoms
If symptoms develop or worsen during the 14-day isolation period, or new symptoms appear, call 060838300.
