Research on Those Transferred to Quarantine Zones in Armenia Will Be Ready by the End of the Day

The Armenian Ministry of Health's Public Relations Department presents the current epidemiological situation regarding the novel coronavirus infection: as of March 13 at 14:00, 292 tests for the coronavirus disease have been conducted in Armenia, with 8 positive results, 2 of which were confirmed recently. The patients are hospitalized in an infectious diseases hospital. Only one patient has a fever, specifically the one with pneumonia, while the remaining 7 show no symptoms.

The last 4 cases are connected to a confirmed coronavirus patient from Ejmiadzin, who was isolated days earlier. It is worth noting that the laboratory tests for citizens transferred to quarantine zones on March 1 will be completed by the end of the day.
