Ministry of Labor Calls to Avoid Public Spaces in Upcoming Two Weeks
To prevent the spread of the new coronavirus in Armenia and to safeguard public health, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs calls on citizens, where possible, to avoid visiting social security services, the State Employment Agency, the Medical and Social Examination Commission, and regional divisions of social support, as well as other public spaces for the coming two weeks.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
It is noted that in cases where visits are absolutely necessary (in cases related to the limited timeframe for realizing pension or benefit rights), individuals should use personal protective equipment (masks), frequently wash and disinfect their hands, and approach staff's requests for hygiene measures with understanding.
The ministry also reminds that applications for various programs, including the one-time childbirth benefit, parental leave benefit for children under 2 years, and one-time burial benefit can be submitted online at https://bit.ly/2TMtzYX.
For all questions related to social protection, citizens can call the hotline at 114.
