Judges' General Assembly Scheduled for Today Postponed Due to Coronavirus
Due to health and preventive considerations, as well as based on requests received from the courts, a decision has been made to postpone the session of the General Assembly of Judges of the Republic of Armenia that was scheduled for today. This was announced by Arman Khachatryan, the head of the Press and Public Relations Department of the Supreme Judicial Council.
It is noteworthy that the assembly convened at the General Jurisdiction Court of Ajapnyak was intended to elect a judge member of the Supreme Judicial Council. The candidates were Suren Antonyan, Artak Barskyan, Gorg Hakobyan, and Stepan Mikayelyan, all judges of the Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation.
