Ministry of Defense Calls to Limit Visits to Military Units Due to Coronavirus
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has issued a statement regarding the recorded cases of the new coronavirus infection in the country. In order to safeguard the health of military personnel and to avoid potential complications, preventive and sanitary-epidemiological measures continue to be implemented within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
"In light of the above and with the aim of preventing the penetration of the virus into the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, we urge everyone to limit visits to entities subordinate to the Ministry of Defense, such as the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense, military units, military educational and military medical institutions (hospitals). If it is absolutely necessary to visit these institutions, protective masks must be worn," the statement from the Ministry of Defense's press service reads.
