Turkish 'Mosaic' Foundation Recognizes Armenian Genocide
On March 7, the Multicultural Mosaic Foundation (MMF) based in Colorado, USA, voted in favor of recognizing the Armenian Genocide. This is reported by ermenihaber.am.
This foundation, created by the Turkish community in the United States, is linked to Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, who is considered the leader of a terrorist organization in Turkey. It was under Gülen's directive that the Armenian Genocide was recognized.
The organization issued a press release stating that it had established a committee three years ago to investigate the events involving Armenians in the Ottoman Empire in 1915.
“During these three years, committee members have attended lectures and discussions with experts studying Ottoman and Armenian history and have also met with family members of genocide survivors,” the press release states.
