Zvartnots Airport Issues Statement

In light of the current situation regarding the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), we urge Armenian citizens to temporarily avoid traveling to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and EU countries (particularly Italy, Germany, France, and Spain), except in cases of absolute necessity. This was stated in a announcement posted on the Zvartnots Airport's Facebook page.

In case of being in or visiting the aforementioned countries, we recommend following the guidelines and advice from the Ministry of Health of Armenia or the relevant authorities of the respective country, and to get in touch with Armenia's diplomatic representations on the ground,” the statement said.
