Traffic Changes in Yerevan

The Road Police have issued a statement: "From March 10, 2020, traffic organization changes will be implemented in the section of Gayi Avenue from the intersection of Gayi Avenue-Moldovan Street-Lviv Street to the intersection of Gayi Avenue-NANSEN Street, as well as at the intersection of Gayi Avenue-Totovents Street. The aim is to increase the traffic capacity of vehicles and avoid delays and congestion.

As a result of this change, stopping of vehicles will be prohibited in both directions of the specified section of Gayi Avenue. Additionally, vehicles traveling from the first lane of Totovents Street towards Gayi Avenue will be able to move straight or turn right at the indicated intersection, instead of only turning right as before, while travelers in the second lane can only proceed left, instead of going straight or turning left as previously allowed."
