Traffic Management Changes on Gayi Avenue to Avoid Congestion
Starting from March 10, 2020, modifications will be made to the traffic organization on Gayi Avenue, specifically from the Gayi Avenue-Moldovan Street-Lviv Street intersection to the Gayi Avenue-Nansen Street intersection. The aim is to increase the traffic flow of vehicles in this area and to avoid delays and congestion, including at the Gayi Avenue-Totoventzi Street intersection.
Due to these changes, stopping of vehicles will be prohibited in both directions on the specified stretch of Gayi Avenue. Simultaneously, vehicles traveling from the first lane of Totoventzi Street towards Gayi Avenue will be allowed to proceed straight or turn right at the designated intersection, whereas previously, they could only turn right. Vehicles in the second lane will only be allowed to turn left, instead of previous options of going straight or turning left.
