Three-Year-Old Child Among Coronavirus Infected in India

Doctors in India have diagnosed a three-year-old child from the state of Kerala with the new coronavirus, making the child the youngest patient in the country to contract the disease. According to NDTV, which reported on March 9, the virus has also been detected for the first time in the Jammu and Kashmir region, where a 63-year-old woman has tested positive.

Statistics indicate that the majority of those infected with the coronavirus are elderly individuals and those with weakened immune systems. As of the morning of March 9, India has recorded 41 cases of coronavirus infection.
