Four Members of the French Parliament Infected with Coronavirus

Four members of the French National Assembly (the lower house of Parliament) and two staff members have tested positive for the new type of coronavirus. “Tests conducted on four members of Parliament and two staff members have yielded positive results for the presence of COVID-19 coronavirus. Sanitary investigations are being carried out, and the services of the National Assembly have implemented measures to prevent the possible spread of the virus,” the statement from the Île-de-France Regional Health Agency reads.
