13 people have been diagnosed with the new coronavirus in Georgia. This information is stated on the government’s special website. Earlier, the Ministry of Health had reported about 12 infected individuals, most of whom had visited Italy or had connections with travelers from Italy, while the others had traveled to Iran.

Among the infected is the son of the Director of the National Center for Disease Control of Georgia, Nikoloz Gamkrelidze. “The number of infected has reached 13, there are 141 people in quarantine, and 69 are under inpatient monitoring conditions,” the website stated.
