No New Cases of Coronavirus Infection in Armenia: Ministry of Health
The spokesperson for the Armenian Minister of Health, Alina Nikoghosyan, has denied reports of any new cases of coronavirus infection in Armenia. In an interview with Armenpress, Nikoghosyan stated that they will officially announce any new developments regarding this issue.
“We have suspicious cases every day, but if we have confirmed cases, we will inform the public officially. There is nothing like that at the moment,” Nikoghosyan said.
The first case of coronavirus infection in Armenia was confirmed early on March 1, involving a 29-year-old man who arrived from Iran on February 28. On March 1, 32 individuals who had come into contact with this man were isolated at the Golden Palace Hotel in Tsaghkadzor.
