Samvel Mayrapetyan Placed on Wanted List

Businessman Samvel Mayrapetyan has been placed on a wanted list. In response to an inquiry from Armenpress, this was confirmed by the Special Investigative Service.

“On March 3, a wanted notice was issued for Samvel Mayrapetyan. On the same day, the measure of restraint selected for him, personal guarantee, was revoked, and a motion was submitted to the court by the investigator of the Special Investigative Service to choose detention as a measure of restraint for S. Mayrapetyan.

Moreover, the investigator has made a decision to convert the amount deposited as a personal guarantee into state revenue,” the Special Investigative Service stated.

Mayrapetyan is charged under Article 38-311 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia (aiding in receiving bribes).
