Classes in Educational Institutions to Be Suspended from March 2-8: Minister Arayik Harutyunyan
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, Arayik Harutyunyan, spoke during a Facebook live stream about the coronavirus and the announcement of spring break in educational institutions.
Due to the coronavirus, the spring break initially planned for the end of March will be moved to March 2-8, inclusive. According to him, the decision was made following consultations involving the Prime Minister, the Minister of Health, and other officials.
“This week is completely sufficient to relieve the tension. The order applies to schools, colleges, vocational schools, and universities,” Harutyunyan noted. More details can be seen in the video.
