Two More COVID-19 Cases Confirmed on Diamond Princess Cruise Ship
Two additional cases of coronavirus infection have been detected on the quarantined Diamond Princess cruise ship off the coast of Japan. This was stated in response to a query from the Gordon publication by the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
The infected individuals are Ukrainians, two of whom contracted the virus earlier in February, but the information was only disclosed today.
According to the answer, as of February 26, 2020, four Ukrainian citizens diagnosed with the presence of the COVID-19 virus have been hospitalized in medical facilities in Tokyo. They are currently in satisfactory condition.
The remaining Ukrainians continue to stay on the ship. According to the Ukrainian embassy in Japan, they have undergone coronavirus testing. The results are yet to be known.
