Bulgarian Government Chooses Wizz Air as the Airline Linking Sofia to Yerevan
The Bulgarian government has selected the Hungarian airline Wizz Air to operate flights between Sofia and Yerevan. According to a report by Armenpress, this announcement was made by the Bulgarian government.
The selection was made in accordance with an intergovernmental agreement, European Union legislation, and Bulgaria's national legal norms. The airline has expressed its willingness to conduct two flights per week on Mondays and Fridays. The flights are set to commence at the end of March 2020.
It is expected that the regular flights between the two countries will help strengthen bilateral ties and promote the development of tourism and business relations.
