Former Head of Kosh Penitentiary Lyova Baghdasaryan Released on Bail
The former head of the Kosh penitentiary, Lyova Baghdasaryan, has been released on bail by the appellate criminal court. This information was shared with "Fastinfo" by Baghdasaryan's lawyer, Hrant Ananyan.
According to him, the amount of the bail has been set at 4 million AMD.
It should be recalled that on September 17, 2019, Lyova Baghdasaryan was arrested on suspicion of receiving a large bribe. Subsequently, he was charged with receiving a large bribe within the framework of the criminal case being investigated by the NSS, and custody was chosen as a measure of restraint, which was later extended.
The appellate court partially granted the appeal submitted by the lawyer and applied bail. The pre-trial investigation of the criminal case has already been ongoing for the fifth month.
