Residents of Karnut Block Highway to Gyumri
Since early morning on January 20, residents of the village of Karnut in the Shirak region have blocked the highway to Gyumri. The villagers are demanding objective compensation for damages incurred from hailstorms in 2019. This was reported by a correspondent from SHANTNEWS.am.
The media outlet notes that according to the residents of Karnut, the damages they suffered are greater than what the head of the consolidated community has reported to the rural administration of the Shirak regional governor's office.
