«Friends, has anything changed? Are the previous values gone? Daily consumer goods are getting more expensive» - Tehmine Vardanyan
Yerevan City Council member Tehmine Vardanyan wrote on her Facebook page: “In 2018, the ‘Yelk’ alliance was fighting against chain price increases. It was fighting for the benefit of the citizen and for a vision of a better state.
Two intense years have passed. A revolution took place, after which it seemed that citizens would have a more dignified life and that the quality of life would indeed rise. The power was taken over by a party that is part of the ‘Yelk’ alliance. Unfortunately, day by day we witness the rising prices of consumer goods, and why not, chain price increases as well. But perhaps it just seems that way to us. Maybe poverty is in our heads.
P.S. Friends, has anything changed? Are the previous values gone? Are there no more honest impulses? Weren’t we fighting together against such phenomena? Or am I not remembering something correctly?
Yes, of course, the revolution is evident. Principles have changed,” she noted.
