Service Investigation Launched for Policeman's Post
A service investigation has been launched regarding a threatening post made by a policeman under a publication related to Constitutional Court President Hrayr Tovmasyan. This was announced by Zardand Gabrielian, head of the Media Relations Department of the Police, in a conversation with AuroraNews.
We sought to clarify whether the individual who made the post is currently considered a police officer. “A service investigation has been initiated by the Acting Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan in this regard,” he stated.
It is noteworthy that Vazgen Simonian had commented on a post regarding the visit of former NSS Director Georgi Kutoyan’s place of death, writing: “Next, they will hit you.” A Facebook user, Gegham Petrosyan, had captured and shared the post from the user named Vazgen Simonian, where the latter made indecent remarks towards the President of the CC and threatened him, stating that he would be next.
Below, we present the Facebook posts and screenshots of the two users.
